We know you love poker! But we also know that you don’t need to know everything about poker!

After our IDO we have been working hard to get you a Poker Festival with 50K BUSD GTD and many tournaments to give you the opportunity to win those prizes while enjoying the perks of being Elite for one month!

We would like to take the chance to inform our users about the variety of tournaments that you can enjoy now.

Texas Hold’em NL

Texas Hold’em NL — No Limit Texas Hold’em is one of the most popular variants of the card game of poker. Two cards, known as hole cards, are dealt face down to each player, and then five community cards are dealt face up in three stages. The stages consist of a series of three cards, later an additional single card, and a final card. (Check the hand rankings on the picture below)

Omaha PLO

The most played type is Omaha Pot Limit (PLO). The first major difference compared to Hold’em is that each player is dealt exactly four hole cards instead of two. However, players don’t use all four hole cards to make a hand because they can only use two of them.

Also the bets are capped at the pot size, hence the name Pot limit.

Short deck

It is played with a standard 52-card poker deck but ranks 2, 3, 4 and 5 are removed, leaving 36 cards. Each player is dealt two hole cards, then five community cards are dealt face up in three stages, like normal Texas Hold’em. The two major changes in the hand ranks are

1 — Flush beats a Full House

2 — Three of a kind beats a Straight

Regular & Turbo

The only difference is in the speed at what the blinds increase.

Builder

Pot builder games are sometimes deceiving! While there is no GTD prize pool, the buy-ins are higher than other tournaments adding up later on with rebuys and add-ons. The minimum number of players is 2. They are very convenient to get into the leaderboard as the prizes tend to be higher due to higher buy-ins and smaller number of players!

Satellites

Satellites — They are tournaments in which the prize is not monetary but tickets to other tournaments. These are usually freeroll or a fraction of the prize of the tournament for which players can qualify. Example: Countdown to Texas Hodl’em Main event 10K is a satellite tournament (freeroll) where the top 3 players qualify to the Main event through a freeroll.

We wish you all the luck and encourage you to try to get in the leaderboard this month! You have two additional weeks this time so you have more chances to get in! Take advantage of the HODL Festival! Staking 10K $INP you will be able to enjoy freerolls for BUSD prizes until the 15th of January!
